Outreach in the Casadonte Group

The Casadonte group has a national reputation for outreach. Beginning more than 25 years ago, Dr. Casadonte, with the help of the American Chemical Society Student Affiliate group at Texas Tech as well as his research group members and funding from the American Chemical Society and the National Science Foundation, has been active in service learning projects, chemical demonstration shows for diverse groups, and Project SERVE (Science Enrichment Using Retired Volunteer Educators). His outreach and mentoring  has resulted in his nomination as a Fellow of the American Chemical Society, several CHEMLUMINARY awards, and the President's

Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring (PAESMEM) Awardee from The White House.
